The World Energy Council has the largest global network of energy leaders and practitioners. The Insights team of the council is looking for a person who can join their multi-national environment.
The intern will support customer service to the community while gaining relevant experience in the global energy field.
The intern will receive a United Kingdom National Minimum Wage Salary. At the end of the internship, the intern will have gained experience in producing analysis on the energy transition, producing dynamic and relevant narrative in a complex energy debate at stakeholders levels.
The internship requires the candidate to:
-Be comfortable with education and background in numerical analysis especially statistics and data mining.
-Be fluent in writing and speaking English.
-Have strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and drafting skills.
-Be able to pay good attention to detail and have ability to plan and prioritize conflicting tasks paying into attention the risks involved.
-Have experience in data analysis and research; finding suitable data, building databases and mining or analyzing databases.

-Have strong analytical and relationship building skills.
-Have interest in development of energy models and metrics.
-Have genuine interest in energy- related issues.
-Have information technology literacy; advanced Microsoft Excel, Python or R skills.
