The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results were released yesterday by the Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed.

Kcpe 2018 candidates can now access their results real time from their mobile phones by using the short-code 20076. While releasing this year’s KCPE results, Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed urged parents and the candidates to use the short-code 20076 to access the marks.

Top two candidates, a boy and a girl, shared top slot in this year’s exam with 453 out of 500 marks as the number of candidates scoring 400 marks and above improved from 9,846 last year to 12,273. As per her speech during the release of the exams, Amina said that all candidates who sat for KCPE this year will join secondary schools.

Consequently, the Ministry advises parents and pupils to check the KCPE results and KCPE result slip for any anomaly such as incorrect candidate’s name, school name and code as well as wrong subject grade and report to KNEC within a month after the announcement.
